Fernie Castle Hotel is a privately owned castle dated back to the 14th century, situated near Cupar, and is the ideal location to live out your dreams of a splendid wedding impressing all, be it an intimate and romantic ceremony for 2 or a wedding for up to 180 guests. [Neil and Mary Blackburn] personally supervise the complete operation of this 14th Century Fairy Tale Castle. In addition to the stunning main architecture of the castle, there are also Turrets, Private Lochan and Ancient Icehouse set in the 17 acres of wooded grounds. Our standards are the same whether it’s a pot of coffee by the open log fire to a full Banquet, we at Fernie will give you the service you deserve.
Fernie Castle is first glanced as you enter through the wooded drive with a large open lawn to the front, on entering you are greeted by a cheery open log fire and hand painted murals adorning the walls.
We can accommodate up to one hundred and eighty people in our Circular Ballroom overlooking the floodlit Loch. The Hotel has fifteen individually well-appointed bedrooms and one treehouse available to wedding guests at a special rate subject to availability.
